Sat-Sun (may vary depending on department needs) DESCRIPTION Audit/Verify/Review daily production paperwork for both Block and Cheese and provide follow up on discrepancies real time to the supervisors on shift.
Complete and distribute Daily Inventory, Yields, Summaries, and management packet reports.
Complete weekly Problem Cheese reporting, CIP chart validations, and department metrics report.
Audit/review all dispositioned product for accuracy and or needing action.
Management review of Store Room Recaps, M/R tracking, Grainger machine usage report and OT/penalty pay tracking.
Complete/Print/Post Department Graphs/Metrics (Animal Feed, Problem Cheese, PPLH, Customer complaints, OT, Penalty pay, In-spec, etc.
).
Supervisor support consisting of, but not limited to PO review/completion, QA details, summary reports, staff/team meeting notes, manning sheet preparation, errands, phone calls, captive tool check in/out and ordering items.
Auditing MSS, department inspection logs, Pre-start Checklists, CIP titrations, and ensuring they are completed/ turned in on time.
Ordering Supplies for department and reconciliation of P-card account statements at the end of the month.
In charge of general organization of preshift/office area and supplies needed for daily operations.
Support and review MES/SAP daily operations to verify accuracy.
Management of employee TOR/Vacation requests, communication to supervisors of upcoming requests and enter employee schedules in Kronos.
Support as the Maximo CAPA Lead for the department.
Plan for and communicate any upcoming audit items (MSS, customer audits, SQF/USDA/FDA, and communication for gaps in procedures, safety tracking, JTPR tracking).
Other duties as assigned by supervisors and or management.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Professional demeanor for employee and management interactions and problem solvingComputer skills, primarily Excel (Charts, Graphs, Reports), as demonstrated by a proficiency test.
SAP / Ten Key proficiency / Typing Speed as demonstrated by proficiency test.
Organization skills, able to work independently, and ability to multi-task is requiredAbility to work with peers and management to gather information and problem solving.
Knowledge of the Cheese Department is preferred, or equivalent work experience is required.
