POLICE OFFICER (INSTRUCTOR)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying law enforcement procedures to instruct on Federal and local laws, traffic laws, established rules, regulations, and legal authorities; 2) Preparing instructional methods and theories used in a Police Officer's training environment; 3) Instructing investigative procedures, techniques, and methods to resolve crimes and other incidents; and 4) Developing course materials and techniques to train law enforcement personnel. Employee will be required to sign a continuing service agreement prior to travel to the academy.Agreement to Continue in Service - CSA, Agency requires 36 month of continued employment after the completion of required training from the FLETC in accordance with Title 5 USC 4108 and 5 CFR410.309.Failure to voluntary complete length of employment requirement can subject employee to reimburse to the agency for fees, such as tuition and related fees, travel, and other special expenses (excluding salary) paid in connection with the training.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
