AUTOMOTIVE WORKER (SERVICE WRITER)

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is:
demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of an AUTOMOTIVE WORKER (SERVICE WRITER), WG-5823-08 without more than normal supervision under the following:
1) Creating work orders and estimates for automotive preventive maintenance and repairs; 2) Performing minor automotive service repairs, ordering parts for service, and making on the spot recommendations for preventative maintenance; and 3) Performing visual and operational inspections on vehicles and equipment. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
