Nurse Practitioner (NP) Job Overview:

  • Refer stable patients to specialty clinic services within the MTF when the patient's treatment requirements are beyond the capability of the Urgent Care Clinic
  • Not responsible for scheduling appointments such as referrals.
  • Refer patients who require emergency care that is beyond the capabilities of the MTF to the appropriate clinical/specialty service.
  • Responsible for arranging and coordinating evacuation of patients requiring emergent and urgent transport to other treatment facilities when the medical services are not available at Naval Hospital Lemoore.
  • Document all referrals in the patient's medical record and in automated data systems used by the MTF following MTF policies and procedures.
  • Initiate recommendations for Sick-in-Quarters (SIQ) and duty modifications for active duty personnel in accordance with MTF instructions.

Nurse Practitioner (NP) Job Qualifications:

  • BLS
  • (3) years of full time experience in a Family Practice setting within the last five (5) years as a NP
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • Licensure: active, current,unrestricted. Any U. S. state honored.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing

  • Graduate from an ACEN or CCNE accredited academic program.

  • NP certification

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
