Product Repair/Mod Tech C

Job Description:
Test and troubleshoot electronic circuitry to fault isolate and identify the malfunctioning discrete or active components (microcircuits, transistors, capacitors, resistors, etc.), with 4 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Capable of performing repairs and conducting final acceptance testing on avionic equipment. Capable of reading and interpreting assembly drawings and electronic schematics. Experience in soldering to a high-reliability standard such as MIL-STD-2000 or J-STD-001C, and ability to inspect own work for compliance to quality standards. Experience in operating electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, etc. Experience using various hand tools to (Client)assemble avionic equipment. Capable of organizing and prioritizing workload. Capable of using Windows-based computers. Ability to travel to both domestic and international locations (on short notice). Ability to access to the Lemoore Naval Air Station is required. Good verbal and written communication skills. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e. g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training. Works under general direction.
Education / Experience:
Previous troubleshooting experience of the following avionic systems is desired: ACNIP (AM-7300/A), Client (CP-1334A/A), EMD (AEU-12/A), FIRAMS (AN/ASQ-194), HSD (IP-1350/A), HUD Camera (MX-10403, MX-10987), IBU (MX-9965/A), ICS (AM-6979/A, AM-7360/A), MSDRS (AN/ASM-612), RADAR Systems (AN/APG-65 and AN/APG-73), RPYC (CP-1330A), and UFC (C-10380, C-11919). High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The Field Repair Facility-West is located on the Naval Air Station in Lemoore, CA. Personnel perform repairs and final acceptance testing on avionics and test equipment to include the replacement of electronic discrete and active components (microcircuits, transistors, capacitors, resistors, etc.). Specifically required to functionally test avionics and test equipment to determine operational condition, perform fault isolation and troubleshooting of faulty avionic electronic circuits, install replacement parts using high-reliability soldering techniques, and utilize hand tools to (Client)assemble avionic assemblies. Applicant must be capable of reading and interpreting assembly drawings and electronic schematics, which are utilized in the testing and repair effort, and must be capable of inspecting their own work for compliance to quality standards. Ability to travel to both domestic and international locations (on short notice). Ability to access to the Lemoore Naval Air Station is required. Individual must have the ability to work under general direction and to prioritize workload.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
