Product Repair/Mod Tech C


  • Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversee assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
  • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e. g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
  • Oversee training. Work under general direction.
  • Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft, components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation.


  • Required Able to obtain Secret clearance.
  • Required Willing & able to deploy/travel on short notice to domestic and international locations for varying lengths of time to meet customer needs and work statement. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation. Travel locations might include Kuwait and Washington State.
  • Required Intermediate skill in structures & aircraft structures assembly
  • Required Intermediate ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, schematics, assembly drawings, and technical manuals
  • Required knowledge of safety practices and procedures; maintains safety and good housekeeping standards
  • Required experience using high speed rotary hand tools
  • Required knowledge/experience with identifying, cleaning, and treating corrosion
  • Aircraft Structures repair and modification experience is required for this position.
  • All employees are expected to have their own tools upon arrival for work.

U. S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
