JMPS Customer Support Representative and Training Specialist

Responsibilities:

The JMPS CSR/Trainer will provide onsite act as the primary liaison between the fleet, the logistics team, and the Program Office. Primary duties include providing on-site technical support, fleet release training, scheduled classroom training, and on the job training to the squadrons and commands using JMPS. Other duties include supporting JMPS Enhanced Developmental Tests, Operational Test events, supporting the PMA-281 Help Desk, and supporting the PMA-281 Technical Documentation Team. The candidate will work with cross functional teams to compile source data inputs, establish training requirements, and review developed material.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required Skills

  • Naval Aviator or Naval Flight Officer, Mission Planning Experience preferably in F/A-18 Hornet.
  • Experience in operational mission and strike planning.
  • Experience conducting training and training curriculum development.
  • Candidate must be able to analyze and research software gaining the knowledge to conduct training, provide support, and aid in the development of training materials for the software
  • The ability to work independently with limited guidance yet function as a member of a team

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree with JMPS mission planning experience

Desired Skills

  • Advanced to expert user with MS Office applications specifically MS Word templates and styles.
  • Experience developing technical documentation and training for military computer systems
  • DoD approver 8570 Baseline certification or civilian equivalent. Personnel performing IA functions must obtain one of the certifications required for their position category or specialty and level. Refer to Appendix 3 of 8570. 01-M for further implementation guidance

Security Clearance

  • U. S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance, Top Secret/SCI preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
