Cheese Supervisor

For our Lemoore, CA "West" manufacturing facility, which also happens to be our largest plant with more than 1,000 employees, we are seeking a Cheese Supervisor who will help us continue our successful trend in the dairy foods marketplace.

Manage the Plant's financial performance to assure that the quality product is provided at the least possible cost.
Manage the Plant's capital, maintenance, upkeep, and operational improvement programs effectively.

Develop the core leadership/management competencies and technical skills of our people, emphasizing individual and organization development necessary to provide the people resources needed to achieve the Leprino Vision and Mission.
Promote a safe working environment in our facility
Effectively manage exempt and hourly training programs in the department.
Assert food safety as a priority that cannot be compromised and ensures that the team is trained and qualified in a manner that meets food safety requirements.

You Have (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelors degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Production Management or related field; or 8 to 10 years of cheese making experience
Five years supervisory/leadership experience in a food and/or beverage manufacturing plant.
Experience with Microsoft Office.

Excellent time management skills.
Knowledge and experience with HACCP, GMP, CIP/COP, PPE.
Proven ability to work closely with others to achieve a common goal.
Good mechanical skills.
Leadership and people management skills.
Preferred experience with leading and/or supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Knowledge and experience working within CI methodologies in the following areas: Kaizen, Standard Work, 5S Program, Process Mapping, Cause Mapping, and Project Management.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
