Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel - Assist with mobility and transferring patients safely - Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients - Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations - Knowledge of catheter care and other specialized medical procedures is a plus - Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately - Attention to detail in providing care and documenting patient information - Ability to adapt to different patient needs and situations Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
